except for the WOP that i cant learn now.Submit Help Post Submit Text Post Posting Rules FiltersĪdd, ,, , or in the title of your post so posts can be filtered! Unfilter Using Mods i have a few animations that dont work and i get a ctd from time to time but my game runs, enjoyably. Granted I am running something like 256 mods without using loot, but ive been modding for yrs and do fairly well just winging it. SKYUI DEFFINITELY DOESN'T LIKE SOMETHING.

I reticked and unticked multiple times, tried unticking the magic menu option in SKYUI mcm and still froze. i thought i might have had something to do with (Player Size Adjuster Mod) that i had just moved in my load order, that was not the case, then I've read multiple places that SKYUI is doing it, so i unticked skyui from my load list and my magic menu was fine except for the lame vanilla ui. I just started playing again after about a yr off, and I've played a good 20 or so hours, and out of nowhere my game completely freezes on a blank magic menu screen. but when i went back out and up to Eldersblood that WOP broke my magic menu and froze. Ive tested this muliple times, and luckily i was already on the bards quest at DEAD MANS RESPITE so i was able to go and test the WOP there and it works fine i was able to learn that word with no issue to my magic menu. For me my game freezes when i LEARN THE "DISARM" WORD OF POWER LEARNED AT ELDERSBLOOD PEAK. but many say SKYUI plays a part in the problem.

(Still, it's always good to read mod descriptions and readmes throughouly because sometimes this mod can only load after that mod and you'll have to adjust that manually - you won't run into as many of those cases these days when modders are going to such extra miles to avoid conflicts, but still reading readmes is just good modding practice in general, and it will teach a lot about compatibility between your mods and troubleshooting your game.) It will also tell if a mod is missing a master file, and more. LOOT will solve most of these conflicts for you, ordering things the way they should be. Sometimes you want this to happen (two mods edit the same record but you want this one to win, so you load it later) but sometimes letting a mod overwrite another mod's changes will break one or both of them and cause all sorts of problems. This is important because the game does read the order in which you load each mod, and when there's a conflict (two mods editing the same record), the mod placed lower in the order will "win," their data is what the game will run. This is a tool that reads through your activated mods and sorts their place in the load order.
